Men's jewelry; especially men's earrings
are still making the fashion circuit.
Men's jewelry actually dates back as far as the Neolithic era. Men would pick up an unusual stone to use as a talisman to ward off his enemies. More elaborate versions of men's jewelry emerged during the time of the Egyptian Pharaohs.
Detailed mens jewelry made of precious stones and metals decorated the bodies of many a king or high ranking official as time moved forward. Many African tribesman still wear men's earrings as did their ancestors many years before them.
Men's jewelry has also evolved over time. While the days of the "Mr. T" look or the "swinging dude" with his 70's shirt wide open and several chains around is neck is thankfully over, there still is something to be said about a man who knows how to wear his jewelry tastefully.
To be tasteful, with mens jewelry, especially
mens earings -- less is usually better.
Most women still find it attractive when a guy wears an earring. A tasteful stud earring or small mens earring hoop in one ear will do the trick nicely. Why the attraction? Maybe it's that a mans earring displays a guy's rebellious side.
Maybe an earring just adds a certain edge to a guy's look. Hmm, there is just something about a guy wearing an earring.
